MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE

If you’re concerned about the post office but need to vote by mail (especially for age/health reasons), apply for an ABSENTEE ballot (NOT the no-excuse Mail-In Ballot) if you have one of the seven reasons to vote absentee. Then you can apply by fax or email and return the ballot IN PERSON (or have an immediate family member do so). ‬

‪STL CITY voters use this application: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/board-election-commissioners/documents/upload/Regular-Absentee-Ballot.pdf and submit by email or fax — that contact info is listed on the form ‬

‪STL COUNTY voters use this application: http://www.stlouisco.com/Portals/8/docs/document%20library/elections/Absentee/ABS_Nov.pdf and submit by email or fax — that contact info is on the form. ‬

Elsewhere in MO: https://www.sos.mo.gov/CMSImages/ElectionGoVoteMissouri/2020FillableBallotApplication-GeneralElection.pdf

You can apply quickly using an online signing tool developed by Elad Gross here: https://www.votemissouri.org/ OR Show Me Integrity’s tool here: https://movote.org/

Can’t return the ballot in person? Just make sure it gets in the mail 2–3 weeks before Election Day! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PLAN APPLIES TO ABSENTEE-BY-MAIL but NOT the no-excuse Mail-In Ballots (which MUST mailed in).

PROTECT VOTE BY MAIL

Call Missouri lawmakers to demand they take steps to ensure all absentee and vote by mail ballots are counted for the November 3rd election.

Contact Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft
To demand an extension to count ballots postmarked by Election Day and received within 5 business days of the election and until that happens, the SOS website must be updated to reflect an alert to mail delays.

  • Phone: (573) 751–4936
